So I finally went and did it.
I exited the borg with a flurry of activity.
I've posted some of the details on my homepage, including a few documents. There's a sound file to go up, yet. As I get time and strength I'll post some more of the details.
The gristly bit is that I did it at the end of a Public Talk I was giving.
It was an emotional farewell, but had to be done.
Now I'm just starting to enjoy each day as it comes, with the new liberties that it affords.
