Beautiful lyrics from 1941. Sung by Warrren Zevon, but I can't find the album. If anyone knows where I can get that song, please let me know!

written by Don Raye and Gene DePaul 1941 MCA Music Publishing ASCAP

You don't know what love is
Until you've learned the meaning of the Blues
Until you've loved a love you had to lose
You don't know what love is

You don't know how lips hurt
Until you've kissed and had to pay the cost
Until you've flipped your heart and you have lost
You don't know what love is

Another one by the same name...

I think it applies to far too many JWs these days...

I have absolutely have no idea why the video posted twice!

I found this info on youtube under the video:

    "

it was written in [like] the 1940s as a jazz/blues ditty.

Warren did it for a movie that came out in '89, i believe.

it was never on an official WZ release

but was included in? the 2 CD box set, with booklet called

Warren Zevon "I'll Sleep When I'm? Dead" anthology."

    Hope this helps

JK I've sent you a PM. As far as I can find out the song is only found on WZ's 2CD anthology called I'll Sleep When I'm Dead.

    More details in the PM
