So, having read the other thread about suing the local KH, and the comments about how little the tower does/cares vis-a-vis the rank and file, I was reminded of the wonderful 'token of appreciation' given to an elderly relative by the 'Society' some years ago.
This after the couple had spent days/weeks, possibly months in construction of a new 'Kingdom' project. Anyhow, in addition to being invited to the local Bethel for a meal, the couple received 2 small espresso cups, (M*de in Ch*na prominently etched on the underside of the tiny cups) and a simple plastic sticker that was affixed to the cup saying "Project/Year".
I thought I'd post this so that many of you know where some of the Watchtower funds are going...
