"Supergran" was the name of a children's programme here in the UK featuring a superhero gran. I don't know if you had that in America but that's where the epithet comes from.
That was great Slim I had to watch it twice to figure out what was happening. Gran in the red coat comes flying across the street and starts the melee.

Yes it has, one thing that never got mentioned was how stupid her actions were, she could have been seriously hurt or even killed.

At first apparently she thought someone was being beat up rather than a robbery taking place. But of course I agree it is not a response to be encouraged. She was very lucky not to be hurt or worse. Property is not worth risking your life over. You have got to admire her spirit though.
