How do you look for and find "Easter Eggs" on a DVD?

I am dying to do this ever since the Dr Who episode on the Weeping Angels where I first heard of it.

A lot of easter eggs are listed online, and there are different ways they are hidden.

The most common type is just a nonsensical option in the menus - sometimes they are on the title menu that appears when you insert the disk, but they can also be hidden in deeper menus like 'sound settings' and the scene selection page.

Starting at the menu page, use the navigation arrows to look around through the menus - try doing things you wouldn't normally do. For example, if the screen shows a vertical list of options, trying using the left and right buttons on each option. For most DVDs without easter eggs, right and left will just end up taking you up/down... but on a disk that contains an easter egg, you will be able to select something that doesn't seem logical, or the cursor that shows your current selection might disappear entirely. Hit the 'select' button at that time, and it'll play the easter egg.

An Example: Insert Disk 3 of Futurama Season 4, and the select the episode "where no fan has gone before". Once in the episode menu scroll down to home and press right. The original picture of the star trek crew will turn into a picture of the planet express. When this happens press enter and you will see one of the writers descrobe the process of creating a script as well as Joe Dimaggio showing how he created the voice of Bender.

Wasn't he a baseball player? I think you mean John Dimaggio! He also does the voice for Marcus Fenix in the xbox game 'Gears of war'. Now whenever I play the game all I can think of is Bender.

If you want to find them on your own, here is an article. Now if the Awake had THESE kinds of articles...maybe I'd read it.
