"There is a significant amount of biased assessment of Obama's performance. For individuals who are solely interested in the truth, it has become extremely important to research non-partisan media outlets and fact-checking organizations that consistently lay out the facts without unnecessary sensationalism and bias. Here are what I reasonably think the outcome will be soon:

**Shutting down the Internet as we know it. You go online, only to find that your favorite political blogs, or anything they don't want you to hear, is at best blocked and at worst treated as kiddie porn is now.

**A fake energy crisis. The scumbag already used the EPA to classify CO 2 as a pollutant. Never mind that Mars and Neptune are also warming, as fast as earth--and not even one molecule of pollution we generate is making it there. This means power plants that want to put out more electricity can't because of pollution caps, and we get shortages. It is even possible that he will arrange a nuclear "accident(??)", now that YouTube is shut down for this kind of videos, and then ban nuclear energy to create even worse shortages.

**Regulating refineries will also create gas shortages. Remember 1974? Remember 1979? The gas rationing systems, 55 MPH speed limits, shortages, and requests to drive less? That is going to look like a glut compared to 2011 and 2012. Worse, the oil is there--in the ground waiting to be refined but can't be because of the CO 2 .

**The sickness care system. During the next few years, everyone will be required to buy sickness insurance (too much will get you a big fat tax; too little or none, a IRS fine with possible jail terms at their discretion). Doctors will be required to treat patients exactly according to the FDA agenda; no more alternative medicine (not even for those who tried regular medicine without success).

**Along with the sickness care requirements could well be mandatory doctor checkups. You will get a date that you have to have a completed physical by, and the doctor will have to fill out the form completely. You will get the FDA ordered prescriptions and instructions as to where you must fill them. A few days later, the FDA agents will contact the pharmacy to make sure you filled your prescriptions. If you miss your checkup or didn't get your prescriptions filled properly and promptly, you get in big trouble with the FDA. One administration error could cost you everything. Remember, this provision could be buried in the fine print, or be added without our knowledge once the Internet is censored by the FCC.

**S510/S3767. The fake food "safety(??)" bill makes it illegal to grow your own food and/or share it with others without filling extensive and expensive paperwork. At best, the FDA will order you to destroy the food. At worst, the 10 year jail terms could be implemented (again, with us having no way of knowing it in advance). This could get so absurd that they will enforce it where a single dandelion on your lawn or any edible plants growing wild on your property is "growing food without a license". They could call a single dandelion a "farm" for the purpose of squashing your freedom. For sure, those garden plants will become illegal unless you have the paperwork filled out. Remember, the egg poisoning was traced to eggs raised on two huge farms!

**Codex Alimentarius. The S510 has language hidden that makes us conform to Codex Alimentarius. This means vitamins will be illegal. At best, you won't be able to get them without a prescription. At worst, there will be raids on private stashes of vitamins, and you won't be able to get them at all. Even those things like EMF protection devices (like the Q-link), fluoride water filters, and therapeutic magnets could be regulated as "medical devices" or outright banned.

**Hyperinflation on the launch pad. The longer it takes for it to launch, the worse it will be when it finally does. They are claiming it is ready in this spring, and even if they manage to stall another few quarters, it will be all the worse once we do see it. Meanwhile, they are going to use MY tax dollars to buy the stock market, creating the fake illusion that all is good. (They did that since March 2009).

**Harmonizing with the One World Totalitarian Government. Eventually, it will mean we are crammed into tiny cities, with 99% of the land off limits. All travel between these cities is heavily regulated, and you can't do anything without the government hounding you. This step will take time, but Osama Obama has already got it started.

Note that the laws may not have these publicly acknowledged. What they tell you about the bills is just the ban on favoring one Internet service and not others; they don't tell you about the censorship. They tell you that they are going to clean up your food--do they need 2,000 pages for that? Do they really need more than 2,000 pages for the sickness care bill? I believe at least 1,900 of those pages are hiding draconian measures, and others can be implemented as the law is interpreted (or added to in 2011 and 2012). And no, I don't believe for even a yoctosecond that they are going to be able to repeal and/or defund any of this.

Can you come up with any reasonable information to support any of your claims WTWiz?

Just this one even. What are you talking about?

All you need do is go online (while you still can), and research "Net Neutrality". Getting past the first few pages (which is usually going to be the Establishment putting its view online and artificially inflating it, usually because that's what mainstream news reports it), you will find the other side of the story. And, look at how censorship started in other countries--usually with "neutrality" promises. As with Iran and China, so with the USA--again, "Internet censorship" in your search engine (plus the country you are researching) will produce more links than I can post here.

I had a feeling it was "net neutrality". You need to research it yourself. Stay away from right wing blogs and sources.

It's the legislation that will actually preserve our net freedoms. Say Verizon, Google and (insert isp here) start charging a fee to those who can afford it. Amazon, Sears, etc. They will load faster and appear at the top. That kills the last fortress of the little guy. If your page won't load in this age of instant gratification, it's likely you will not attract the business. Same would go for information sites. Those who pay, load faster and show up first. The net neutrality legislation in question is to prevent this.

Don't you get it? It's big business and big money that are defining this argument, and bamboozling you in the process. They are the ones who will profit. You oooooohhh big bad scary government types, fail to consider who actually benefits from this nonesense.

That is how it is presented in the mainstream news. However, any time the FCC gets involved in it, it never stops there. In very short order, these power-hungry bureaucrats do what they do best: They add to it. And that's when the government is going to start censoring anything they don't want people to know about. And by staying away from "right wing" sources, you ensure you only get the "left wing" side--similar to staying away from sources exposing your religion and only using sources that are in favor of your religion. (Which is why you should look at BOTH sides--most of us on this forum did just that with our religion, and got out because of that).

LOL, how about just looking at the legislation??? You've proven your inablility to actually look at the issue unbiased, by stating that anything that isn't a "right wing source", is a "left wing source". See how they bamboozle you? It's not about both sides, it's about fact vs fiction.

You can believe all you want what the media presents these bills as being benevolent all you want. But, when they start taking effect and you are adversely affected by them, or when they are misapplied and you are adversely affected by them, you might just see the other side. The same thing happened when welfare started--everyone thought it was such a good idea until too many people started abusing the system, dogging their job hunts, and living off of handouts and costing everyone too much in taxes.
