Hi all,
Have read two noteworthy books lately:
1. "Fortune's Rocks" by Anita Shreve. Outstanding human drama. Very moving.
2. "Volumetrics" by Barbara Rolls. Recommended by my dietician as being a diet plan that works. Rather, an eating plan. Based on the study-proven principle that people tend to eat the same WEIGHT of food every day (e.g., 3 pounds), no matter what the calories are. The solution, they assert, is to eat heavier foods (e.g., water-rich fruits, vegetables & soups). But there's much more too.
