  For those interested:

  This is a PDF of the first volume of the New World Translation. It was released in August of 1950 and shortly thereafter had some additional information put into the Appendices. The 1951 edition was the standard edition of the NWT for the Greek Scriptures (New Testament) until the whole translation (Genesis-Revelation) was put out in 1961. This New Testament volume was later followed by 5 volumes of the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament).

  This PDF is 96 MB and contains the complete NWT of the Christian Greek Scriptures (NT) along with the Foreword and Appendices. It is also bookmarked and searchable.

  You're welcome! Just to clarify: I'm just posting the information here about file. The scanning and other work in making the PDF file was entirely Atlantis' work. He did a beautiful job, IMO.

  Just received word from Atlantis that he's working on the next volume of the NWT series and it should be ready soon. Presumably, the first volume of the Hebrew Scriptures (1953). These should be of great use of those researching the NWT.

  Excellent find! I remember back in the 50s, when the rank and file would take this book to commercial printers and get them to bind this volume with their already existing ASV Bibles. They would have the NT portion removed from the ASV and bind it with the NWT NT to get a complete Bible using the name Jehovah!
