The body of elders should always base their
decisions on Bible principles and written direction
from "the faithful and discreet slave."

Does such a directive even make sense. "The faithful and discreet slave" by their own definition is made up of those of the anointed or 144,000 alive on earth today or the remnant. They have no identity as such and individually are at odds within the ranks of who should be viewed as such and many are even devalued to a status equal or lower than elders with the earthly hope. My eternal life can depend on my treatment of such because they are Christ's brothers and yet I see there status devalued by fellow brothers of Christ. So how then can there realistically be written direction from this group.

Interesting "and" there. So Bible Principles and the FDS's direction are separate?

That's solid food, bobby. THat's why it's in the elduhs manual and not for all eyes to see.

You should "discern" the missing piece that the FDS=GB, and not show your lack of understanding of Jehovah's directions.

The Governing Body uses the term FDS like the Pope uses his throne. But the throne is just a prop, like the Pope it's the GB that holds the power. It's just that in the Bible there is no term Governing Body but there is a Faithful and Discreet Slave. One holds the power, the other is merely the cushion upon which it sits.

yup! maybe they should have printed and/or. Bible principles are good, but. Funny that they teach/taught that all you need for making any decision in life is, get ready for it (drum roll) bible principles. Yan Bibiyan = I will have to wait for a scan with the elders notes in the margin clarifying that for me.

Well the point is that when there is a discrepancy between what the bible says and what they say, go with what they say.

    Every time!

Translation into English: "Elders, follow organizational policy to the letter!"
