A pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist church asked me what Babylon the great is. I would like to share the answer with you since this is in the interest of every Bible student.
He answered and said, " I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the House of Israel" (Matthew 15:24).
Jesus/Yeshua also said: "And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd: ( John 10:16).
The Jews found quite a number of the remarks uttered by Jesus/ Yeshua repugnant. In contrast, this affirmation that the other sheep, the lost tribes, will be brought into one fold was soothing to the ears. The Jews then hoped to reunite with their kinsfolk, the exiled lost tribes, in a more meaningful way, in Christ Jesus.
What was true in the first century became debatable in the nineteenth century wherein thousands of religious factions were claiming to be the other sheep or better yet the fold whichever suits one’s fancy. When taking biblical texts out of context, the choice is up to you. Hence, this self- exaltation is a major factor in the existing dissensions among religious groups today.
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come" ( Matthew 24:14). In a noble effort to fulfill this commission, the Seventh-day Adventist religion launched a mission throughout the world to gather the lost tribes who have long lost their identity, interspersed among a vast number of gentiles believers now awaiting their entrance into heaven. In response to the same commission, the Jehovah’s Witness organization dispatched thousands of pioneers to convert an unidentified number of Hebrews along with countless people of various nationalities that are now positioned to enter the promised paradise.
Undeniably, religious folks have come a long way. Far from the modest, long apparel and hair covering habits of Ellen G. White. the pervasive style among her followers now is short skirts and pants and also short boyish hairdos. These will do just fine. You can get into heaven or find paradise on earth; this only depends on your choice of faith. How we like to say, if the teaching is good them everything is swell. Please keep in mind that God is dealing with people not with theories.
Now that the Hebrews are in the midst of all the nations they can be camouflaged. They will not be held accountable as their forefathers were! The loose conduct of God’s people is noteworthy, namely fornication, viewing of pornography, adultery, and also cursing, lying, cheating, backbiting, reviling. In summary, they simply have no love. As long as your are within a religious framework your are protected, contend these worshipers. The confluence of worshipers did not prevent God from saying to Moses.
"Let me alone, that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of you a nation mightier and greater than they" ( Deuteronomy 9:14).
What can prevent God from smiting these modern worshipers? Can we honestly say that God’s people today are more obedient than the rebellious Hebrews? "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues"(Revelation 18:4). The death sentence on modern Babylon sounds quite similar to the warning in (Leviticus 26:30): " I will destroy your high places cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you."
Though expansive is their outreach and zealous in the gathering of a flock, can they produce a fairer grade of worshipers them they themselves?
" A bad tree bears bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire" ( Matthew 7:17).
GET OUT OF MODERN BABYLON! This is the clarion call to any and all self actualized persons, those who dare to use their own discretion, and their power of reason. Joshua and Caleb, were independent thinkers; they were illuminated. They swam against the current of life during their generation. People similar to Joshua and Caleb do not remain institutionalized; they excel beyond the walls of religion. They perceive the impending annihilation. In phase one of God’s relationship with the Israelites, God said to Pharaoh: "Let my people go to worship me". Sometime later came phase two of this relationship: "I have forsaken my house, I have left my heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies" (Jeremiah 12:7).
How long will the proponents of each of these religions compete with one another for a larger volume of converts?
How long will they keep bringing their counterparts, their puppets, to their places of worship and not heed the call. The call to: Get out of Babylon the Great!
How long will these religious clans be caught up in phase one?
Greater good would result if all of us would give up our fascination with religious distinctions; we would then all learn from one another. I am certain we would only lose the strife among ourselves, at the same time people would take on the responsibility to seek God individually and earnestly educate themselves by studying the Bible for all it’s worth. Thence, when worshipers would come together at appointed times the sole purpose would be to exalt God not religion.
FOOTNOTE, part one----in so far as an individual is mesmerized by the Governing Body, this individual will not reach his/her highest enlightened or spiritual state. Consider the lone Abel, the solitary Abraham, the unique Priest Melchizedek, the favored one of God Job, and God's apologist Elihu .
Abel was judicious and alone in his worship; Cain was no match for him. Solitary Abraham went off on a tangent to follow a new course in life that God would show him. Priest Melchizedek and Abraham, on their first encounter, were symphonic in referring to God as the Most High God. After this brief encounter, they were separated, and each one went his own way in the providence of God. God said of Job in Job 2:3: "There is none like him on the earth a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil." When Job's companions met with him it was not in a religious or harmonious tone. It was more the battle of the antithesis. At long last came Elihu; God's apologist. Elihu wasn't a regular member of Job's entourage, nonetheless, he was a faithful servant of God.
These are singular faithful servants of Jehovah/Yah who appeared at isolated periods of time. The teachings of the twelve apostles of Christ formed a concourse of truth during their transient stay on earth and they forewarn of the great apostasy to follow. All in all, "The Kingdom of the heavens is like a treasure hidden in the field--, Again the kingdom of the heavens is like a traveling merchant seeking fine pearls"(Matthew 13: 44,45). The Kingdom of God can clearly be understood as the truth about God, and his way of doing things. When we pray let your kingdom come, we are asking for His government, His way of doing things. God’s way of doing things is now rare and removed from prosaic life as finding a treasure or fine pearl.
In point of the twelve elite members of the Jehovah’s Witness organization who have the designation of the Governing Body, these men are members of the Faithful and discreet slave "class". I am well acquainted with ( Matthew 24:45) " Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? " Don’t you find it is out in left field to add the word "class" to the scripture? A class of anointed men who happened to find one another and they come together in solidarity? This is absolutely unprecedented!
Would your expectation be disconfirmed if you allowed yourself to believe that I am a faithful and discreet slave and this message has come to you at the proper time?
I was a member of this organization for nearly twenty years. Jehovah’s Witnesses have completely bought the Governing Body conspiracy, and believe that they need a federation for worship, and they utterly evade these relevant scriptures:
Matthew 18:20 " For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst".
Matthew 7:13,14 "Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading odd into life, and few are the ones finding it".
Daniel 12: 4 " Many will rove about and knowledge will become abundant".
It is prudent to learn the morsels of truth of religions and keep learning and keep moving forward, lest you become attached and idolize one paticular religion, and as a result walk in disobedience.
Please do not overthrow every avenue of receiving the Holy Spirit yourself and rely on someone else, namely the Governing Body to function as your guiding light.
It seems that the Apostle Paul was questioned over and over again about the same subject of meat, the following scriptures will prove this to be the case.
(Acts 15: 28 ,29) " For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well".
(1 Corinthians 10:25, 27) " Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience’ sake; if any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go eat whatever is set before you asking no question for conscience sake."
It sounds as though it was the same question that was asked, but a different answer was given this time in 1 Corinthians. What though would a person give up to eat everything that is sold in the meat market. Literally, this would be an exchange. The person would exchange the most important thing that he or she needs in her walk with God. Someone once said that Holy Spirit is as essential as water is to thirst. In the book of Acts Paul explained that it is the Holy Spirit that requires a believer in Christ to abstains from strangled animals, an animal that was not allowed to bleed is equal to a strangled animal. The person who makes it his/her concern to know about the meat and chooses this option has the light and guidance of the Holy Spirit. If our food is not supporting our health how much less will it sustain the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Additionally, Jehovah/Yah pronounced certain creatures unclean. This is not a mere label. These creatures are inherently unclean, they are scavengers. For instance, the lobsters and shrimps are workers, they keep the edible creatures in health and thriving, when these workers are removed from their environment pollution ensues.
In reference to the vision that was given to Peter, Peter was given the answer right away as " he was in great perplexity inwardly over what the vision he had seen might mean". Peter knew that it meant something other than to eat what is unclean. Peter explained that "God has shown me I should call no man defile or unclean" (Acts 10 28).
Part two—for over thirty years I believed I was the young woman from Haiti because I have a long line of ancestors who were born on the Island, after they were carried away from Africa. My understanding changed after a blood test and a DNA test. My husband who is so called a native of South Carolina also took the same tests. We found out we are identical and we are Hebrews.
(Deuteronomy 28:64) " And Jehovah/Yah will certainly scatter you among all the people from the one end of the earth to the other end of the earth and there you will have to serve other gods whom you have not known, neither you nor your forefathers, wood and stone. And among those nations you will have no ease, nor will there prove to be any resting-place---".
(John 11: 51) " This, though, he did not say of his own originality; but because he was high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus/Yeshua was destined to die for the nation. and not for the nation only, but in order that the children of god who are scattered about he might also gather together in one".
As regards who is a Hebrew and who is not a Hebrew, blood and DNA tests are our indicators. Immigration to other parts of the world, slavery and interracial marriages make geographic location and skin tone not favorable, moreover, people of many nationalities share similar skin color. As indicated in the teaching about Babylon the great, masses of Hebrews are in the Jehovah’s Witness organization and the Seventh-Day Adventist religion, and various other religions. The scriptures tell us Yah does not want his people to eat or touch anything unclean.
