I have several of Kitaro Cd's and love them. I too "got into" them in the 80's. Beautiful music.

I used to have a Kitaro LP record. You know, a record, a vinyl based analog playback medium which came before CDs and coexisted with cassette tapes and 8-track... gosh I'm getting old.

yes I had the cassette's back then but have upgraded to cd's. Pretty hot sftuff , the one I put up. Love that jungle beat.

I like Kitaro when I'm in that kind of mood. Most of the time its not my first choice.

Music I listen to is always mood based. One minute Kitaro, the next Meat Loaf the next country, the next blues, throw in some Twisted Sister.

Well, I did not know that you knew about Mr. Kitarou so well.
Also in Japan, I think that the people who knows about Mr. Kitarou is probably a minority.
