Recently my wife, without any suggestions from me, dumped the majority of our WTS books, brochures, mags, etc. into the recycling. I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least...and we have lots more bookshelf space now!
Today, I went through the closet and got rid of all of my bad suits, sports coats, and slacks - the things that I wore exclusively to the meetings or in service. I kept one good suit and one good jacket and pair of slacks for weddings, funerals, etc. My meeting briefcase and my service bag will also be going to good will. I wonder how many of those items will find their way back to the kingdom hall?
More and more vestiges of a former life are disappearing. A good autumn cleaning, all in all.
