I posted a question recently to my colleages at work through the CAN intranet portal. (CAN stands for Community Action Network and has NO affiliation with/to the cult awareness network, just to clarify).
The question was:
Would there be any possible chance of funding for bringing a socially excluded community with individuals from all parts of the world together for enabling platforms to take shape?
I've just received a reply from Stephen Kearney, who I've had the pleasure of meeting with before. This is the gentleman who along with his partner set up The UK Youth Parliament * http://www.ukyp.org.uk/

His answer to my question was that The Network For Social Change in the UK might be interested in this, and he's asked me to ring him for the contact details.
Now I might need some help with this, and hopefully that is where you, members of this community come in. Can you assist in any way at all?

For those of you that do not know, The Community Action Network is a UK independent pro-active 'think tank' in issues related to Social Exclusion and Community Regeneration. We network with all the other leading UK think tanks including Demos, Seed UK, TK2, Era etc and all work from the same premises.
CAN promotes projects where funding money follows people rather than structures and also encourages projects which are non hierachical, in other words projects that are encouraging equal opportunities for all.
