Yep - this is an old story. Viv won the football pools which was the fore runner of the lottery today. It makes you wonder sometimes if having a lot of money is the answer to everything.

Nothing wrong with money, FF, but no, it's not the answer to "everything". One needs to know how to spend, save, and invest wisely and never forget that rainy days and old age happen to all of us.
And yes, keyser, becoming a JW was the icing on her pathetic little cake.

Another thing worth noticing in this story - Viv became a JW when her life had reached a very low point. This is of course the usual JW recruitment technique - find the vulnerable and present them with a fake conditional support system.

She was involved in a stage show about her life story a few years ago and the implication was that she'd left the Org by then...not certain though you know what the press is like...
