Have you read it? What are your thoughts about it? Has it changed the way you think about Life? How did we get here etc.

It's an exceptional book. Its Dawkins at his best, not getting angry about theism but explaining the beautiful elegance of natural selection. If you want an antidote to the all the facile creationist arguments you have ever heard this is it.

It doesn't deal with "how we got here", but it explains and illustrates how the variety of life arose from simple beginnings. At the heart of all creationist objections to evolution is the idea of "complexity"; this book deals with that directly.

After simply reading the preface of this book, I became aware that 99% of what I had previously been told about evolution (from religious sources) was either a lie or a distortion.

Taking a religious sources POV on evolution is like Taking Dawkins as a source on Christianity, you'll get A picture, jsut not THE picture.
