    Fabio Capello, the coach of England's national football team, has put a ban on what he has deemed 'inappropriate' sex. He plans to spy on his players in through the television sets in their hotel rooms. I didn't even know this was possible.

    WAGS= Wives and girlfriends.....

    Sex has been banned.......

    Coach can spy on players through special TV sets in their hotel rooms.......

    ______________

    I discern banning booze and even setting up a 'lock-in' time to assure proper rest......but banning SEX!

    Keeping families members away!

    Please try reading a source that understands the game as opposed to one that doesn't so has to resort to making stuff up

    Okay Cofty

    I am all ears!

    My only experience with soccer is my kids playing......

    I know the ban on sex is popular in sports (boxing etc)

    But these are adult men, this is a job.

    Can you imagine if your boss said no sex because you have big project or report?

    While the squad are in South Africa Capello will no doubt make sure that they are focussed on training and matches when they need to be and spend time with wives and girlfriends when it does not interfere with their job.

    Like you say they are grown men and Capello is no fool.

    There are sections of the media where journalists know nothing about the game but they still have column inches to fill about the world cup. May I suggest the BBC website of Guardian online for actual football news updates during the finals - can't wait

    By the way England's first opponent is USA

    It all boils down to which set of balls the players want to play with. What's the problem?

    Perhaps Capello is aware that sending hookers to opponents' hotel rooms the night before a big game is a commonly employed tactic by American football players. Maybe that's why he is going to such great lengths.
