Never mind - just be happy.
Compulsory voting is only required when most of the candidates are so unacceptable that potential voters are turned off by the available choices. It is an admission that democracy is dead.
If they are too lazy and uncaring to participate voluntarily, how is it a good idea to mandate it? Forcing disengaged idiots to vote is a bad idea. We have enough idiots at the polls.
