Nice vid Co - Co.. it would grace next week's Service Meeting. For the musically uneducated ones like me, could you please show us where the music resembles "Orpheus" and the lyrics Lord Byron?

    Thanks

Thanks, BluesBrother, for your reply. I only now found it.

I was being facetious to the extreme.

Lord Byron wrote the most deliciously sublime verse: "She walks in beauty, like the night / Of cloudless climes and starry nights . . ."

Orpheus' music charmed both bird and beast. Oh -- fish, too!

As a musician and composer, I see none of the two immortals' footprints in #136.

    Sorry for the delay . . .

    CoCo

BTW: the piano's tone and timbre are horrid.

"Orpheus could make the birds sing, but Wagner could make only one low hen grin."

    Learned that at conservatory.

    Aaaaaargh, bad memories !!!

How do they manage to create that "essence of Watchtower" in every song?

Just a quick note to say hi CoCo ...so glad you are better.

2 seconds into that "music" was enough!

Omg always some sort of dirge (sp), most depressing thing!

I think jw sounds are one reason why so many are depressed.

    take care

Thank you, Simon, clarity, and shadow for your apt replies.

Depressing? Yes. In the brown-covered Kingdom Melodies, the new songs were beautiful and could be turned into virtuoso piano solos. The earlier, pink songbook was wonderful because all tunes were in four-part harmony. Obviously, that benefited trained

Sorry that in seeking to elevate Lord Byron I brought him down -- well, not too much:

"Of cloudless climes and starry nights skies."

    Obviously, that benefited trained singers.

    Edited post above refused singers.
