Who gave the longest talk ever in your lifetime?

Karl Adams from Brooklyn Bethel did it for 3 hours in the 80's. I never went to the restroom, I never got up from my seat during his very long talk. I did enjoy his talk back then. After his talk, I did talk to Karl Adams personally and I let him know that I enjoyed his talk. He does look very tired, but he was smiling the whole time.

I remember some lame dumbarse from Brocklyn giving a talk in Auckland in the 80s where he went way overtime as if anyone was interested, alot of yawning going on.

Longest Talk - Viv Mouritz from the Australian Bethel, he has the concluding talk at every District Convention. He is a good speaker, though getting on in years now. He always departs from the talk outline and spends 15 minutes talking about how deep we are in the end of time, relates over exaggerated experiences that generate lots of oooh's and aah's from the audience. He spends the last 5 minutes of every talk using his Darth Vader voice to whip up urgency & guilt feelings that we are not doing enough for Jehovah.

We used to have a running bet on how many times he could illicit audience clapping, he used to average about 20-25 rounds of clapping every talk!

Longest Prayer - Br Franz at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds back in 1988 or 89 where he gave a “special” talk, I sat down halfway through his final prayer.

A #2 bible reading assignment at the CA ministry school.

A friend of mine volunteered for someone who was sick and he talked for 15 minutes. 10 minute OT for a 5 minute talk? The TMS didn't 'ding' him to stop. Why? No idea.

Forgot to say: Why it felt so long. Because I was timing for him and couldn't believe he wouldn't stop. I tried to signal him at 1 min. then 2, then 3. I thought he would never end.
