FDS, Holy Spirit, the Mole and Tinkerbell

  As an outsider, it appears to me that this FDS is kind of like a Tinkerbell fairie. And I wonder if according to WT, the Holy Spirit is portrayed in a similar light.

  A JW once told me that the FDS "reports" to the "(GB) authorities" concerning the acts and behavior of the congregation. So at first I wondered if this was some kind of "mole" in the group. The instance I remember was that at assembly the JWs were told to bring their own lunch and do not eat at any of the restaurants or fast food places in the area. Later, they were told that the FDS had "reported" that everyone had cooperated. So it made me wonder if the GB had certain people placed around the food places to "make sure" that the JWs were obeying their orders and to report back.

  Then it appears that this same tattletale mole also makes up a lot of the new light that comes out as well. It's like Tinkerbell visits the GB and tells them what's going on in spook world and what changes to make in the org. Maybe "channeling" is something like a seance to speak to Tinkerbell.

  The same sort of personification seems to be put on the Holy Spirit. "The Holy Spirit" appoints, directs, says thus and so. A lot of people believe we are surrounded by an invisible spirit world of ghosts. In the protestant religions, the holy spirit is even referred to as being a Ghost. I think the definition of a ghost is supposed to be the "spirit essence" of someone who has died. It seems like the WT holy spirit is another "Tinkerbell".

  Anyway, I am just looking to get this straight....is this the meaning you all get from WT teachings about the FDS and the Holy Spirit?

  At one level, the GB represents the FDS and is reponsible for teaching the FDS left on earth, and no one else.

  On the other level, there are about 135,000 spirit beings just "up there" who are inventing all the rules. They vote on each matter, which might be on blood, holy spirit, how to protect pedophiles, beards, ties, sex, etc.

  When they have taken the vote, the result is decided by simple majority; they are simple spirits, so anything else confuses them. When they decide on another change, this is communicated to one of the old men in USA through hypnotism, visitation by a spirit being, or iPad. It's quite easy for a member of the Heavenly Government to slip down from the sky - according the Hebrew cosmology, the Kingdom Goverment is located just a little bit beyond the International Space Station, in a parallel universe. of which there are millions, perhaps more.

  When a vote fails to get through, the dissidents in the Heavenly Government are disfellowshiped and are completely shunned until the next vote is due. It is possible for teachings to keep changing, so this keeps them on their spirit toes.

  SO, how do you all see these things? As fictional characters? As some kind of real spirit creatures? As men who are speaking for pretend entities? WHat is the FDS to you?

  Seriously and technically, the GB represents the FDS, and the GB is responsible for teaching only the earthly members of the FDS (the balance of the 144,000 still on earth).

  This means that the earthly FDS (some 10,000) are real people, but with no power or authority, the GB is dictatorship, and the heavenly spirit members of the FDS are figments of the GB's imagination.

  It goes like this: the parable says that the FDS (and by implication the GB) is the sole representative on earth of God's heavenly Kingdom. How do they know that this is the way that this parable has to be understood? Because the GB says so. But how can we know that the GB is providing the correct explanation? Because it is the sole representative on earth of God's Kingdom. And around and around and around we go.
