    It was interesting to see the Pope's viewpoint as to why the abuse went on....and on and on.

    Quote taken from: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35960566/ns/world_news-europe/

    Here are the reasons:

    • a misplaced concern for the reputation of the church;
    • inadequate procedures for choosing priests;
    • insufficient training in seminaries;
    • and a tendency to favor clergy.

    It was also interesting to see he only addressed Ireland. Seems he really didn't want to admit it has gone on all over the world.

    Heads up WBTS.....your time is coming, along with any other religion or organization that has tried to hide their history of sexual abuse.

    He is a mealy-mouthed old Nazi.

    The head of the church in Ireland, Sean Brady, refuses to resign unless ordered to do so by papa. 35 years ago he was part of a church court that took no action against Brendan Smyth for proven child sex abuse and forced two of his victims to sign a declaration of silence and forbid them to go to the police. Smyth went on to abuse countless more children.

    Grow some balls Jo or get off your throne.
