Ijust watched a program, where a guy bought a gun and then walked into the office of his attorney (he had a problem),
Then he just started shooting innocent office workers.
The accounts can go on and on... High Schools, Churches, Malls.
The Constitution gives everybody the right to "Bear Arms" So this happens.
HOW MANY DIE EVERY YEAR BECAUSE FIREARMS ARE EASILY OBTAINED?
2000? Maybe less...
The Constitution also says that nobody can be imprisoned, deprived of their liberty "WITHOUT DUE PROCESS" How many has this happened to? Due process is being disregarded more. Torture - the shit has hit the fan now. "Rendition"
Why is it that the protection from imprisonment, is being disregarded so much now, yet the right to have a gun is not?
I know the Anti-Terrorism argument will come up, but how many Americans died from the 9/11 terrorists as compared to how many Americqns died in Gun Crimes the same year?
Are people preprared to give up their freedoms and protections under the law to protect "society " from a perceived threat?"
Who was it said that "those prepared to give up liberty to be protected" do not deserve freedom?
