I saw the title and just started laughing.......

Then, notice how the 5 reasons all rhyme - some deft jams!

Too bad Biggie or Tupac never got a hold of this before their untimely demise......

Sorry if this one has been posted on here before.

Who writes this stuff - OMG

Five Reasons Why Jehovah May Allow Certain Problems:

    1. Jehovah may allow some problems to help DIRECT you. Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways.
Proverb 20:30 - Bruising wounds are what scours away the bad; and strokes, the innermost parts of the belly.
    2. Jehovah may allow some problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags, if you want to know what's inside of them, just drop them in hot water. Has your faith ever been tested with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be filled with joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith and this will give you patience.
James 1: 2-3 -Consider it all joy, my brothers, when YOU meet with various trials, knowing as YOU do that this tested quality of YOUR faith works out endurance.
    3. Jehovah may allow some problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's like as a child, your parents told you don't touch the hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of something whether it's health, money, or a relationship by losing it. It was the best thing that could have happened to you, for it taught you to pay attention to Jehovah laws.
Psalm 119:71-72 - It is good for me that I have been afflicted, In order that I may learn your regulations. 72 The law of your mouth is good for me. More so than thousands of pieces of gold and silver.
    4. Jehovah may allow some problems to PROTECT you. Problems can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious. For example you may be fired for refusing to do something unethical that your boss has asked you to do. Unemployment is a problem - but it may save you from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's action are eventually discovered.
Genesis 50:20 - 20 As for YOU, YOU had evil in mind against me. God had it in mind for good for the purpose of acting as at this day to preserve many people alive.
    5. Jehovah may allow some problems to PERFECT you. Problems when responded to correctly, are character builders. Jehovah is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship with Jehovah and your character are two of the most important things a Christian has. We can rejoice when we run into problems, they help us to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us to trust Jehovah more each time until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady.
Romans 5:3-4 - And not only that, but let us exult while in tribulations, since we know that tribulation produces endurance; 4 endurance, in turn, an approved condition; the approved condition, in turn, hope.

Is it just my browser acting up again, or you forgot to post the actual "garbage"?

Edit: never mind, it shows up using Firefox.

    Sorry to hear that! LOL....

It was another one of those group emails I received - I should write the guy and ask to be taken off of his mailing list.

Every 3 months or so I get those spiritual nuggets from him.

Directing you--Where? If a problem was a motivation to change, then why not terminate the problem immediately upon such change being initiated? And why not cause the continuation of that change to result in much blessings instead of always using bad things to get people to change?

Inspecting you--For what? You drop a tea bag into hot water (the tea bag has no feelings, unlike people). You get the contents out of the bag. Now, what is left? Another dunk in hot water to get more tea out of it. And what is still left? This can go on forever, and it only leaches everything out of the person in an attempt to find out whether that person will still be worthy of blessing if the test goes on yet one more round.

Correcting you--How? You lose something to get appreciation for it. But, what if the loss is ongoing? How am I going to appreciate something if I lose it and cannot gain it back without unreasonable hardships? Yes, a child will learn not to touch the hot stove after being burned--once. However, most children do not stay burned--it is usually only a superficial burn. It hurts, but usually it heals in a few days with no permanent disability. Which is more than can be said about the problems that Almighty Lowlife Scumbag continually doles out--often for nothing.

Protecting you--From what? You get fired from work, preventing you from going to jail. But, how often do the workers go to jail for their bosses' misconduct? This is very rare--usually, the workers will just get a new boss or the company will go belly up when this happens, and the bosses are the ones going to jail. But, what about just getting the workers a new opportunity to make billions of dollars legally while the corrupt boss loses his workers and goes belly up? Too bad, Jehovah--there are better ways to prevent people from being harmed even worse.

Perfecting you--According to what? A problem can only improve a person if it has a solution. You make a bad decision, you create a problem, you learn from it, you make a better decision next time. However, what happens if you make the right decision and the problems still happen? Suppose the problem is the result of Jehovah making a pxxx poor decision on your behalf, after you have rejected His decision? How are you to learn from that? More often, such problems cause people to become worn out, and they prevent them from contributing to society like they otherwise could have.

I hope whoever wrote up this sxxx has a few problems "to test, re-test, re-re-test, re-re-re-test, and so on". Then, when it breaks them down, they have this article to refer to.
