where can i find solid evidence of the UN connection?

i want to be able to use this unknown fact about the WTBS with Jw's of my aquintence, but they are going to want to see somthing to back that up before they belive it. Can anyone help please?

Well the UN website for one!...... when the story broke I called them first and the woman was more than happy to guide me to the UN links to see for myself the Awake articles submitted yearly by the WTS!..... then I headed off to the CD to confirm the article authencity. Then I went back to the UN site and read the NGO requirements. The fact that the UN complied yearly in submitting proof of UN propaganda told me all I needed to know...... most of what is highlighted was available for free though the media-paks that the UN sent out for free......like say to my jr high/high school debate classes!

The story originally broke in the Guardian in 2001 . If it was a fabrication, the WT has had plenty of time to refute it, or sue them.

One article contains a confirming statement from Paul Gillies. If your JW tries to slander him as unreliable, search http://www.jw-media.org/ for Gillies.

I suggest you teach yourself how to quickly search the Guardian to find it.

I just did it by searching for Jehovah's Witnesses, then refining the search to 2001. There are two articles on page 2 of the results.

Out at Last!

I think that the letter from the wt was posted on here and they admitted to being a NGO with the UN, but it was only for the "library card." if you find this, then show the rules for being a NGO, support the UN teaching, 2 signatures required, ect. Hope it works for you, good luck.
