Seriously, I felt like taking a break from my crustified self to be sincere and positive, if only for a moment. At the risk of sounding crazy, I do still ask God stuff all the time. And, more often than not, I believe he/she/it answers me in a way I can understand.
Last night, during a rough patch, I tried to get outside of my pain/mind long enough to level with God. I prayed, seriously as could be expected, "I'm going to ask you what I believe is the best and most noble question one of your creations could devise: What would You do, if You were me?"
And, the answer, I believe, was the following:
"Go in peace and greet others with peace. Your debt has been paid."
