I just got done watching Sting's "A Winter's Night" Concert on DVD. It really is a wonderful concert. It was recorded at the beautiful eleventh century Durham Cathedral in England. I was watching it with my wife who is a JW and got to thinking if the Watchtower was in control they would destroy this wonderful edifice much like the Taliban did to the ancient Buddhist statues in Afghanistan. They don't respect art or beauty or history or anything that doesn't involve their narrow minded little publishing house.

Before I fully woke up and quit being a witness, one of the thoughts that really bothered me was the fact that so much beauty in the way of art, architecture, music and literature would be destroyed at Armaggedon. It would be like wipping out centuries of human thought and progress.
