I was curious what some of you metal fans thought....

Randy Rhodes was a legend, but I like Jake E. Lee and Zakk Wylde too.

I was just listening to Jake E. Lee's band "Badlands" - I know a lot of people didnt like Jake, but were also comparing him to Randy Rhodes.

(if you like 80's metal/Zep-influenced rock, that is a cool debut album)

Jade's Song / Winter's Call from Badlands is awesome. Check it out on youtube if you havent heard it.

Randy was his best so far. However I did like what Brad Gillis did with on Speak Of The Devil prior to him signing with Night Ranger.

Randy Rhoads. That was a trick question, right?

LOL - I have a couple of younger buddies who will argue for Zakk.

    This younger generation.......I tell ya!

Randy was a genius. He obviously influenced all of the guys who followed him under Ozzy.

I love how he brought the classical flair and technical ability to metal guitar.

    Ozzy said it best:

Osbourne described Rhoads' playing as "God entering my life."

    ANGUS! ANGUS! ANGUS!

Now there's a way to deprogram from the watchtower. Grab some Jim Bean and an AC/DC record.
