On page 18, there is an article entitled, 'Religious Persecution in Georgia-How Much Longer?' For those of you current with the situation in Georgia, you know that the Witnesses there have been receiving many physical attacks. You also know that the key player leading the attacks is Vasili Mkalavishvili, the defrocked Orthodox priest. Anyway, let me just end this post with the footnote on page 19:
"Vasili Mkalavishvili was expelled from the Georgia Orthodox Church (GOC) in the mid-1990's after harshly criticizing the GOC for its membership in the World Council of Churches (WCC). (The GOC has since withdrawn its WCC membership.)"

Italics and bold words were used for emphasis.
Faithful Witnesses criticize the Society for their UN membership. The crtitics get reproved or expelled. The Society promptly withdraws its membership. See the irony?

The irony appears clear. Good observation Bigsy.

What faithful Witnesses have been reproved or expelled for criticizing the Society's UN membership???

I believe badwillie and his wife were publicly reproved. There may be more but I know for sure at least they were reproved.

And I was forbidden to talk about this issue.

An Elder said: "If u go on talking to bros about this we will consider that apostasy...!"

They are not doing anything against me right now, cause I'm not going to the Hall. I think if I would hang more around the bros, they would be more busy to do something about me...

Believe you me, they will try you for apostasy if you bring this issue up and raise questions about it. Of course, I would like to know if anyone currently active has brought this issue to their elder's attention. If so, what were the results?

So many stupid people, so few comets! :o)
