Old health proxy coming back to haunt you?

    So, I have been thinking...

I at one point signed a legally binding No Blood health proxy.
My parents made copies, and have it stashed various "safe"
places. They MAY have even taken the WT advice and given
a copy to my primary care physician.

How can I keep these health proxies from coming back to bite
me without betraying to my parents my "apostate views" on
the blood issue and getting myself DFed?

Can I make a new proxy voiding out the old ones?

My (fellow apostate) wife is listed as my legal spokeperson or whatever...
Can she go against what I once signed?

    Anyone else thought about this?

Any new POA supersedes any old one. I would make sure that the clinic/doctor and hospital have a copy of the new one along with the new POA. You don't have to destroy the old copies. Check with a lawyer to set your mind at rest.
