If the GB is the discreet and faitful slave, what are it's ties to the 1st or 2nd century Christians?
Scripture shows that the apostles meet with elders ( distinguished from apostles) and the whole of the (local) congregation to reach a decision on important matters ( See Acts and so forth, they don't show a "governing body" at all, but if we suspend judgement for a moment and give the benefit of the doubt that this was the eary version of a governing body, how does the WT traces ITS lineage back to them ?
