Is the story of resurrection being used as psychological morphine?
Ancient Egyptians comforted themselves with elaborate ritual funerals for the dead and probably some interesting speculative stories of what the afterlife would be like.
Suppose this new theosophy of resurrection is a similar psychological tool to comfort people about the inevitable demise of all humans? Could this be some sort of benevolent psyc-ops to help people accept the loss through the continual genetic culling of our breed? It seems that every few generations there is mass annhiliation. And it starts all over again. People do not seem to remember history and much of it has been rewriiten with each passing generation, anyway.
WT teaches a resurrection to life on planet earth. How can this be reconciled with what Paul preached in 2 Corinthians 5?
Paul says that neither this body nor this planetary existence is our home!
Could it be that this resurrection to life on earth is a fictional addendum?
Did Jesus actually give any indication of supporting this "return to paradise earth" theory?
If man was created by a cruel god, then what was the purpose?
Have you not been trained to call yourselves 'slaves'? Have you not been trained to waste your lives going to endless nonsense meetings and door-to-door while denying yourselves any opportunity of enjoying whatever this world may hold in fascinations and education? Have you not been conditioned to slavery from the moment you accepted religion?
Could it be that we are merely genetic experiments? Did the angel/aliens give us too much of their DNA to keep us down as slaves? Is this why we must be constantly culled?
In John 15:5, Jesus says "I am the vine" and speaks of those who bear fruit. With one seed you can plant a vine that runs many yards. A vine is unruly, it goes as it pleases; it twists and turns and sometimes tangles. A vine has an independent, wandering spirit.
Yes, there will be a harvest of the grapes. In Revelation 14:20, we learn what happens to the grapes. You will remember that immediately after the crucifixion there occurred the "slaughter of the 10,000 innocents"...those who followed Jesus and who knew of the corruption in their religious and political system of the day. And so, this will happen again. And again. It happened during the Crusades, and also the Reformation. It is time to happen again now.
Rev. 14
18Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, "Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth's vine, because its grapes are ripe." 19 The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God's wrath. 20 They were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the horses' bridles for a distance of 1,600 stadia.
