How are members of the GB replaced?

  This topic is in response to the topic Barbara Anderson started on Brother Jaracz stroke, did not want to hijack that thread with this question.

  If my memory serves me correctly, there are presently nine members on the GB, is there a requirement on how many there need to be? What is the process for the appointment of a new member of the GB? With the June WT, it appears this position is penultimate to the organization, since the WT in essence gives all the power to GB.

  Remember, Jaracz is not dead yet. Maybe he will be wheeled into the GB boardroom for another couple of years, dribbling away...

  I am sure they already have someone in mind....

  It was just a matter of time until Ted or Jack exited the building.

  Generally, anointed, outstanding service record, and willingness to sumbit to the pecking order..... I assume they have to sign a nondisclosure form too (can't have another Ray).

  Keeping an odd number of GB will keep the balance in voting too.

  This all said ..... they could easily not elect another until after Jack is gone too. Why share the power if you don't have too.
