Have you Googled it? or Googled 'last days & earthquakes?'
The society as usual misrepresents the facts about earthquakes as they do about everything else like crime, pestilence, etc...
In the book 'The Sign of the Last Days -When?' by Carl Olof Jonsson & Wolfgang Hebst it has a chapter on 'Earthquakes & Historical Facts'.
Here is a sample from pg 64
Earthquakes Death figures according to Awake! 2-22-77 Death figures according to Awake! 5-15-83
1920 China 180,000 200,000
1939 Turkey 23,000 30,000
1950 India 1,500 20,000
etc..
(this one stands out to me)

I recommend this book even thought the copyright is 1987.
