  There are many who attack Jehovah's Witnesses. Some are ministers of churches who have seen members of their flocks leave to become Witnesses and some are ex-Witnesses who were disfellowshipped for grossly dishonest or immoral conduct. Stubbornly refusing to accept correction their only defense is to retaliate with apostate lies and slander.
  Disgruntled former Jehovah's Witnesses never divulge to those whom their hate mongering is intended to influence just why it was that they were excommunicated. Telling the truth on just this point alone might prove helpful to those who read their comments but being helpful is no part of their motives. Instead of accepting correction they give in to the injured pride and jealousy that can result from being unmasked and not getting to have it their way. They allow their personal chagrin to fester until vexation leads them into open declarations of animosity, spewing forth all consuming tirades with such vehemence that they no longer have any capacity

  I'm a little surprised that the article does not mention that Witnesses refuse blood transfusions.

  The story is more in the comments, a pretty heated part of the comments is about the secrecy of the NWT translators.

    I have a feeling that most of people who attack the teachings of the JWs are those who are too intellectually lazy to read for themselves what the Bible teaches, and rely rather on the teachings of their religious leaders who claim to be theologians. Another category of attackers are those former witnesses who got excommunicated for leading double irrepentant lives. Now any God-reverentially-feared individual who believes that the Bible is the word of JHWH/ELOHIM/YAHWEH/JEHOVAH would make it a personal task to find out God's way and, walk through it, in order to please HIM. The way of JEHOVAH is revealed to mankind in the Bible. For now, we have enough informations in the Bible to know what Jehovah did and what He plans to do in the future. We know how our troubles started, why JEHOVAH allows this situation to last so long, and how He plans to solve it once for all.

I AM NOT A WITNESS, BUT I AM OFFENDED,....I`ve never heard of a religion called "Offended" THE JEHOVAH WITNESS DON'T ASK FOR MONEY....Ever been to a kingdom hall at the end of the month,they ask for money from the stage!!....Or at an assembly,the WBT$ never has enough money to pay for the assembly..So they ask for it from the stage.. AND DON'T ABUSE CHILDREN,..What about the recent payouts for child abuse crimes?   I wish all reporters had to take a course in college called, " How to avoid writing a puff piece for a cult". These reporters can't even do a simple google search before they write their story and accept what JW's tell them at face value. I have never seen a follow up story, either. I called one reporter recently who did a story about the KH on Martha's Vineyard. She admitted she was just doing a fact finding piece and JW's were just one of many religions on the island they had written about. I hope she took to heart what I told her about the JW's for her next story.
