I walk past a house every day that has a cat litter box in the front porch.
For the last week a memorial invite has had the place of Honor at the bottom of it.
Did I mention the cat uses the box frequently. I think the people of the household were trying to send a subtle message in case any "return visits"™ were contemplated.

My most urgent questions are, If cats are invited to the memorial, will they be included in attendance figures along with human beings or will there be a separate count for felines? More importantly, will cats be allowed to partake of the emblems - if they provide some visible evidence that they are part of the heavenly calling? If the answer to the latter question is, Yes, will the local elders be broad-minded enough to also include some fish-flavored unfermented bread? While Tiddles can furnish evidence that his calling is heavenly, he continues to turn his nose up at plain unfermented bread.
LOL ...Steve 2 I don't know about cats but I do know Dogs are not approved...Butt licker's and scat eaters will not inherit the kingdom...
