    Space Battleship Yamato "Great love"

When I was a school child, even if I do not watch that movie, it is the music which taught me "true love."

The following is a one scene of that movie.

    What is "it"?

Although KODAI was engaged to YUKI, before they got married, the battle started.
Yuki wanted to be near Kodai, and she ignored his command and followed him.

    Yuki got injured by battle.
She says, "I'd like to return to the earth early and to live together with you."

But she is injured further and dies.
Kodai releases other crew to the earth, and crashes into the enemy with Yuki.

Possible-san....I think the poster wanted to know the title of the musical piece and perhaps the composer.

Do you play a musical instrument yourself?

    OK.

The composer of that music is Mr. Hiroshi Miyagawa.
He has died at the age of 75 in 2006.

The title of that music is "Ooinaru ai" (Japanese).
I do not know that title in English.
The meaning of "Ooinaru ai" is "great love."

This music is not sold in Japan now.

    Hi, SacrificialLoon.

In a English version, I did not know that it was a name of "Starblazers" until now.

But I feel that that title makes that movie spoilt.
Because "Yamato" is the name of the battleship which fought with the United States at the time of World War II.

And Japanese spirit (soul) is expressed as "Yamato."
Therefore, "Yamato" is the Japanese itself (themselves).

At YouTube, it is introduced in the title "Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato."
