We are so close to huge breakthroughs on anti-aging and regeneration that will profoundly change the human race. At some point, if humans develop the technology of indefinite life, the Bible will no longer apply, as it defines man as a creature of "three score and ten" or little better. Beyond that, the ability to regenerate any body function will change everything.

I put it to you that one day, in the not too distant future, we will be able to go on the offensive against all Witnesses, personally and as an organization, by pointing out that 'puny humans' are winning the war against death and aging and will be able to cure or fix anything while the Watchtower runs out money preaching a feeble message of false hope.

I'm sorry but I can't make any sense out of your post. As these technologies are developed, they will become as desired and unstopable as VCR's them were or as the internet has become. Even people like Obama will hail them as health care solutions - much cheaper than years of supporting chronic disease.

Money will determine this biotech and , in time, be cheap enough for the middle class.

Can't see the video (YouTube blocked), but I get the gist of it.

So what's going to happen if we can regenerate ourselves? Over the last hundred years, many things that used to be common and kill us have been dealt with. Meaning more people die of different things than they used to. For example, one of the reasons heart disease has risen as a killer (aside from lifestyle) is that people don't die of other causes and live long enough to die from heart disease.

So we can get a step closer to living forever, but what's next? Something else we haven't discovered that will affect people in their 150's?

Furthermore, if people are living longer, your population grows even faster than it already is. Either the holders of the technology will get very rich selling it for as much as they can, or overpopulation will kill us by the resulting starvation or crime.
