Women did have an active part in the first century congregation. The following account shows that a woman did have a prominent position in the congregation. JC with his admonition did not say ‘What the heck are you doing teaching…don’t ya know you should be only doing No 3 assignments’. She did get ticked off by JC for fornication and all but if she repented etc. I guess he would allowed her to carry on. Any thoughts?

    *** Rbi8 Revelation 2:20-29 ***
20 “‘Nevertheless, I do hold [this] against you, that you tolerate that woman Jez'e•bel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and misleads my slaves to commit fornication and to eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her fornication

    Good point ISP.

Another one I have often used is the fact that JC first revealed his identity as the messiah to the samaritan woman at the well and not to his male disciples.

    Hello ISP,

    congratulations, a very good point!

I never saw it that way...a logical observation.

    It is worthy an investigation!
