    Um....hi again.

you know, I post a comment and people started tearing eachother apart. I work full time and have been very busy. I wasn't even expecting many people to respond. But I thank you....i think?

I come back after a few days to check the status of my post, cause usually it takes time for people to respond and I find two people tearing eachother apart.

Um ...I feel a little obligated to make a statement of some kind in regards to the two posters. I must be honest, after the second page, I did infact get tired of the 'back and forth' arguement, and decided to to make a public announcement on this. I contacted the people in the beginning of their first advice and then continued reading only to find that they were...pretty upset with eachother.

I don't think one individual or the other was in anyway superior or less. Infact the help I sought was not in anyway to create bitter arguements or enemies when we all have come from a religious organization that has shunned us all. Even if you agree to disagree. I do , however, think that it's important to realize we all in some way or another been rejected or hurt by people within or outside the organization. So why become bitterly angery with eachother now when we know how it feels to be rejected and hurt. I am not the same person that I was 4 years ago, nor am I going to be the same person 4 years from now. But we shouldn't focus on the disagreements but, to the contrary, the things we agree on. In the beginning both parties were indeed focused on one thing: Helping me.

For this I thank you, you both. Over a period of time, through the post, it became an issue of being right or wrong. I don't think that was correct. You guys need be more accepting even if you don't agree. After all, if you must hate someone, hate me! i'm the one that posted the original thread ...at which neither of you would've taken off like that.

I am not now attempting to reopen that threat and start a new argument. I really don't want to go there! So please don't take this as an oppertunity to say 'well he started it.'

    I started it. I started this/that thread.

There is a scripture in which the bible it says 'do not reprove a riduculer that he may not hate you. Give a repoof to a wise person and he will love you.' (proverbs 9:8) I do not know you two, and not sure if you still believe in the Father in Heaven. However, that proverb is indeed a wise saying. So we are either all intelligent and I wish to make and keep peace between you two by, not asking you to 'kiss and make up', but let this go, or we're all stupid, including me, as i've just rekindled a fire.

I'm not saying one person was right and the other was wrong. As I stated, after the second page, I just realized this was not right. I had to make a new thread and clear the air.

My ultimate question in regards to the scripture quoted above is this: are you wise? Or did i create more enemies?

No answer needed, but would enjoy a peaceful conversastion.

Let there be peace among us, not war. Let there be joy, not sadness, let there be love not fear.

Wow, I just read the whole argument. Your advice is very good and I hope everyone can be friends despite different opinions. That is why we are all here after all.

To further clear the air I harbor no ill will towards the poster with whom I had a disagreement with. I never thought the conversation would get as contentious as it did. In fact I am sorry it got so heated. However as a health care professional, who is an expert in the field, I would have been negligent if I had not set the record straight. There was an increased risk of mortality and illness associated with his treatment recommendation. My premise is supported by medical scientific fact. I was deeply concerned not only about your health FiveShadows , but of other readers of his recommendations. Again I am sorry it got as heated as it did, however I felt it would be irresponsible to not impart medical fact. I again would encourage you to use your physician for a sounding board when it comes to medical treatments. There is an abundance of misinformation on the web regarding "alternative treatments. Remember not all alternative medicine is bad, but please be careful.

By the way I am a Dr of medical radiation physics and I am a lithotripsy specialist.

LOL i'm sorry i scared you guys. I just didn't expect a 3 page thread when i rechecked. Infact, I thought I was going to get one or two people to resond and that was it. Plus i still live with a jw family even though i've been disfellowshiped. Primarily because my mom is extremely open minded and understands that just because your not a witness doesn't mean God doesn't love you...etc. so i wanted to open this website on certain time when no one would question whether i'm going back to the organization or not just because the title says 'jehovahs-witness.com' etc.. and then have to explain it's a website for EX jw's..and then have a huge arguement blow up on 'YOU CAN'T GO ON THE COMPUTER FOR THAT' blah blah..so ya know? Anyway, thanks for the concern. I only have one thing to say about all this: say...how about them dodgers eh? eh? Or maybe the knicks? huh? huh? Another sports enthusiasm comment sentence from a non sports individual.

    Dear Five Shadows,

Your original post above only demonstrates to me that you have such a sensitive and caring heart. Please allow me to reassure you here that there is no lasting animosity between those of us that debated this issue on that other thread. In fact, at the end of our discussion, Recovering and I wished each other the best and I even offered to buy us a round of cold beer. (Of course being this is a thread on liver health, we'd be drinking non-alcoholic beer.) --And the truth is I rarely drink at all. But it was just an expression to show we can agree to disagree and not keep it a personal issue.

On a public site as large as this, people will often get into spirited debates on a variety of subjects. And, IMO, that is a good thing overall.

I respect Recovering's position against taking that liver cleanse. He believes the risks are too great and the benefits over-rated if true at all. I just disagree.

I disagree with those views, adamantly, and have expressed precisely why in great detail on many pages with numerous testimony, photos, lab reports and more. My entire family and many friends have taken this cleanse with astounding results. Hundreds of thousands of people have likely used this cleanse with zero reports of death or serious complications. It is the top rated website when doing a Google search for liver cleanse, liver flush, gall bladder cleanse, removing gallstones and many more searches like these. This cleanse is used by people from countries all over the world today because it works. The evidence is all over the place. While Recovering has never even tried it.

But that is just my opinion based on my own personal experience, the experience of others, photos from others, lab reports from many people and more.

I believe your own situation, Five Shadows, would improve if you used the cleanse as well. Just as my wife's situation improved after using the cleanse. And so many others.

Sharing the cleanse with you here, to me, is a reasonable thing to do. If it's not for you, I fully respect that as well. But I took the time to share it because it has helped so many others including my own family.

But it's also important for me to let you know that I have no problems with others disagreeing with me here or elsewhere. And that having a debate on this issue is a healthy thing, IMO. Just like debates on spirituality, atheism, politics and more are generally positive endeavors overall as well. We all usually learn a few things along the way from spirited debate.

And thank you for caring enough to take the time to share your concerns for us here. But all is good.

I wish you and your health in 2009 the very best!

Let us know how you do.

    Peace to all,

    Vinny

It's funny that FiveShadows started an entire new thread just to clear the air; and the two arguers are both here touting their respective sides.

Now I've been in a few heated online discussions before, so I know how easy it is to get sucked into one; but come on guys give it a rest already. Why don't you both go hug it out or something? It's obvious that both of you are VERY good people with good intentions.
