Does anyone know if The Watchtower still produces its own food, or has that been done away with?
At one time The Watchtower was self sufficient in growing produce and raising cattle, pigs and chickens for consumption by its workers.
The Watchtower even had an orange grove in Florida!
Have all these farming activities been done away with?
Most all of the food production has been done away with. They still produce beef, apples, some other fruit, and some sweet corn. I think they still have the grove in Florida. They quit canning about the time I went to beth-hell and systematically discontinued vegetables, poultry, pork, dairy, etc.
So most is purchased. As soon as the big A comes, Bethel will starve to death.

They offer food at the proper time. Does that count?
The same trend as with the a$$emblies. They had something that resembled real food at one time. They "simplified" that out, substituting cold sandwiches and crap "food" in its place, and then further "simplified" even that out by forcing the witlesses to bring their own.
Hopefully, after they totally discontinue food made on the farms, there is a major price spike in a staple food item just as they have to negotiate a contract. They have to pay the much higher price, only to have the price on those items crash in the next couple of weeks (and them taking a bath on it).
