I have not seen or heard anything new about this rumor. (COs going bye-bye) Has anyone out there with lofty connections heard anything about this?

I think this was the most recent confirmation. It is worth noting that the timing given for the announcement of the reduction in pioneer hours was wrong so that throws into question the reliability of the whole post IMO. I still think both the CO and pioneer hour changes are going to happen.

I heard it 2nd hand but from a reliable source that GB member Gerrit Loesch stated that there will be no changes in the C.O. / D.O. arrangement. Phil

I'm almost of the opinion that the GB let these rumours out to fly so that Forums get hold of them to debate them ..... and ......

..... cast an eye over what would really happen if etc,.

Saves a lot of bother of them having to work it out possible consequences!

From what I hear, major changes are coming next year. The COs are getting an allowance\salary increase next year but I wouldn't call that major.
