Ministerial servants have at long last been invited to their one-day Kingdom Ministry School and, once again, MS who have families are having to interrupt or forgo their annual vacations. Why? Because in Australia, it's customary for the nation to go on 'hols' around late December and January. Seriously, the nation just about goes on one long vacation. Businesses in the manufacturing and distribution sectors, as well as building and construction, all of them come to a halt.
So, to whet the appetites of these long-suffering families, the MS have been instructed to prepare for this 'not-to-be-missed' event by reading beforehand the QFR in June 15 and Oct 15, 2000 Watchtower. as well as Romans 12. No doubt chapter 12 will be used to re-enforce control and obedience to the organisation. They should try reading from the NIV. Much more satisfying as it does not re-state cult language. Bible and magazines are to be brought to the school.
As one MS who is a family head expressed it: "I'm going to have to try very hard to stay awake!"
