In Australia it's rare for kids to trick or treat....but we got one just as I was going to the shop to buy candy so my wife offered him a choice of apple, lemon or orange and he chose lemon?????
Then my wife made some pumpkin lanterns and lit some candles....i had to work and was to busy to get into it, but this was like a first Halloween we didn't give the kids "My book of bible stories" which is the worst horror book of all time. Also I got the candy and I hope we get another one!
Also today I made my first ever bet on a horse.....I went a bit overboard {$250} I felt like a rebel...what a day 2 Jehovah sins comitted in one day.

I always am...it's frustrating, but at least I know there is a reason behind the last few months.
My little one loves lemons and limes that is a bigger treat than a candy bar for him. I am so glad your wife is getting help, hope this makes life easier for both of you.
