    From the onset when I was asked to turn in my field service report to show how many hours I was talking about the WT about so called truths, I knew this it was all bull crap what a farce. I am so sure Christ asked his disciples to write down their hours and hand them in to him I would think he has the capacity read their hearts and know if they are wholed hearted and if the have gave any writen truths to others in their service to Jehovah. but no, we got these fools who successfully got thousands of people to hand in the little time slip so the factory can boast to the rank and file and say look how wonderfull we the GB are see how we are being used by Christ in the time of the end, and you the rank and file are for spending your own money and time for all these magazines and crap. I should have spent much more time with my kids and taken them fishing when they were young and took them to the the park swinging rather then serving a magazine factory. So all you Lurkers, decide if your going to be a mallet head and do only what Landrew tells you to do, or use the brain god gave you. It is the will of Landrew, meaning them them GB

    I remember being told that by an elder that we counted our time so that the society could see how the work was progressing and how many were coming into the organization, and that it was a good provision because it boosted our faith in God knowing our numbers were increasing.

    After leaving the organization, I learned that King David sinned when he took account of his men during a war. He was not relying on God that he would win but was looking towards a fleshly desire to "see" that the numbers where on his side.

    This is exactly what the WT is doing today. They are trying to "see" how great their numbers are thinking it proves they have God's support.

    2 Samuel 24;

    9 Joab reported the number of the fighting men to the king: In Israel there were eight hundred thousand able-bodied men who could handle a sword, and in Judah five hundred thousand.

    10 David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, O LORD, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing."

    11 Before David got up the next morning, the word of the LORD had come to Gad the prophet, David's seer: 12 "Go and tell David, 'This is what the LORD says: I am giving you three options. Choose one of them for me to carry out against you.' "

    13 So Gad went to David and said to him, "Shall there come upon you three [ b ] years of famine in your land? Or three months of fleeing from your enemies while they pursue you? Or three days of plague in your land? Now then, think it over and decide how I should answer the one who sent me."

    14 David said to Gad, "I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men."

    15 So the LORD sent a plague on Israel from that morning until the end of the time designated, and seventy thousand of the people from Dan to Beersheba died. 16 When the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the LORD was grieved because of the calamity and said to the angel who was afflicting the people, "Enough! Withdraw your hand." The angel of the LORD was then at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

    17 When David saw the angel who was striking down the people, he said to the LORD, "I am the one who has sinned and done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? Let your hand fall upon me and my family

    Good point about Jesus not asking for an account from his disciples. Although the WT will twist any time the Disciples did tell the Lord that people were responding to thier message as the disciples actually "reporting to Jesus" this is really a stretch of those verses. The disciples were never told by Jesus they HAD to report anything to him. If they did so, it was merely because they wanted to.

    The WT asking for time cards is to keep an eye on who is not pulling their wieght for the WT, and is showing a flagrant lack of faith in God that he will accomplish his will on earth regardless if anyone wants to go out preaching or not. The WT condems itself as being faithless each time they ask for these sheets.

    Peace, Lilly

    That is why I write down whatever the hell I feel like.

    I keep it varried between 7 and 13 hours just to screw with them. I also throw in a book or brochue along with the mags just to mess with them.

    I would, toward the end, skip a couple of months of reporting and then turn in two or three slips for different months at the same time. That way, they would have to waste more time hunting for a slip (that isn't there) only to have it turn up a couple of months later.

    I just quit handing in time 2 months before my unannounced and sudden exit. You should have seen the elders face when I gave him the slip with zero on it.
