i had a heck of a time finding sterling and rock falls on a map... no.. my brother is not very close to there..I think IC is SE quite a ways..
If I get up to IC...I will only be a short hop from the Quad Cities... possibility of going there next Friday..dont know yet..

anything under 2 hours I am ok with and consider to be "short hop".... I am not looking forward to the 4-5 hour drive if I go next weekend... I used to drive 18-24 hours with few stops...of course, I was a bit younger ....and stupider....
