As a fprmer account servant there were months that were really tight. Then they planned a remodel with many pledging a certain donation or contribution. Then after everything was finalized many of the major contributors moved to other towns and congregations. With knowing the income brought in and what was going out I quickly gave the accounts to another member. When I last attended I heard from the platform that they were about $600-$700 in the hole. That has been awhile ago and I have not heard how they are doing currently. I was hoping they would fold up.

Tired of the Hypocrisy
Most of the time I have to say no. The brothers in Albuquerque and Sacramento never ran a deficit. If things got tight the announcement went out and poof more money appeared in the coffers. Most of the time the books stayed in the black because the air conditioner was rarely used. They had no consideration for anyone and so if it got too hot my mom would nudge my dad and poof....out the door we went. LOL
