I just received an email from an old friend (still in) who said that this new Lifetime Movie, which is a true story, is the actual story of a real life sister. Her name is Barb. The email included photos of Barb at the premier with the stars of the movie.
Did anyone see it? Any thoughts?
I saw the last 40 minutes of it, wished I would've seen it from the beginning. I think it's a very hopeful movie, it totally build up my hopes for those battling cancer. I wonder if someone has found a cure for AIDS but it has not been publicized yet because it is still waiting for the FDA approval.......you are talking about "Proof of Life"...I'm terrible with actors' names.

Actually, it's called Living Proof.
Proof of Life was the movie with Meg Ryan and Russell Crowe, when they had their real life affair that ended Meg's marriage and pretty much ended her career. Good movie, though.
I didn't watch Living Proof because, usually, Lifetime is full of movies about how strong women are and how awful men are. Blechhhh. Was this movie actually better?
