At about 10am on a Sat. morning, two men from a cong. stopped by looking for deaf in the area.
I learned how house holders must have felt like when I went to their doors at that time on a weekend.
I had on my pajamas still and my hair was a wreck.
I hate answering the door to anyone when I'm not expecting them.
Lesson learned a little too late.
Edit to add that I told them no thanks to their invitation to the sign language group meeting in my area for the first time.
I told them I am on a different path and am very happy.
They used the sign for "deviate" when confirming that I am on a different path from the WT.
That was offensive. It looked as if I deviated from the right path instead of just a different path.
I'm kind of hoping that my carelessness in what I say will be taken seriously and I will be DA'd automatically without any warning to me.
I want to be able to show my shock to any JW and JW family.
It'll make them look deceitful.
It's an idea, anyway. I want my total freedom without submitting a letter or getting DF'd.
