The video asserts that society will gradually transcend time and money. How? I think we'll always be subject to those things. Like Ben Franklin said, in this world nothing is certain but death and taxes. Life may seem like it's speeding up, but life has always been short and it continues to feel that way now. We have more choices about usage of leisure time -- and whether we make the most of our short life is really up to each of us.

No doubt technology is accelerating. But technology will be useless unless people actually purchase and use it. It will not outpace the market.

I don't think the Fed is trying to impose fear and control. I think they're trying to stem fear. And it's not really working.

I heard this morning on the radio the results of a survey about America's economy. 25% feel panicked, and 70% are "concerned". I'm in the 70%. I think concern is reasonable. I don't think panic is. The market is going through a major but needed adjustment, after which life will return to a more normal and hopefully more sensible rhythm. People will come to understand once again the value of thrift and saving, much as happened during the Great Depression era.

No matter when we live, we should appreciate the preciousness of life. It is special or precious now, and it will continue to be in the future.

LOL when I saw "Golden Age" I thought we were talking about the monthly that was mainly overseen by Ole' Clayton.

So what do these 'New Age" people think is going to happen to society in Dec 2012? Do they equally expect something in 2016 or 2019?

There was a spaceship in the video, do they think ETs are coming?

Do they suspect a world wide hindu / buddhism movement?

Don't majority of all religious believes carry similar end-time scenarios

    Jesus returned (Christianity)
    Baldur returned (Norse religion)
    Messiah ben David (Judaism)
    Kalki Avatar (Hinduism)
    Mahdi (Islam)
    Saoshyant (Zoroastrianism)
    Maitreya (Buddhism)

From what i can gather, the 'new world order' is some kind of socialist utopia, where you can have all the toys that you want. The benevolent world govt will take care of you and your needs. But, you won't be allowed to own anything. There will be no countries, no religions. All the races will be mixed over the whole globe. But, I haven't talked to any of those illuminati lizard guys, so i could be wrong.
