I've been meaning to post my personal Entrant's School notes... perhaps I'll get to it soon. All in all, it was such a drag. Going to these stupid little meetings after Monday night WT study was pointless - just more conditioning to obey your overseers, do what you're told in all areas of you life, and never deviate from the center line in all areas of behavior.

The Bethel Entrance School was an added burden to an already exhausting lifestyle. Trying to keep up with work (Bethelites work half a day on Saturdays as well); congregation meeting attendance, personal study, and the Bethel assigned Bible reading was a huge challenge in itself. The additional time it took for study and research for Entrance School was enormously tiring.
One time, another brother and myself had to prepare a talk / demonstration which was on the topic of being envious of other Bethelites who get work promotions. I'm not joking. This topic was considered to be an "oh so important" subject for discussion within Bethel - so much so that we actually had to perform a five-minute demonstration at the school (a sort of a miniature drama). If you think that convention dramas are corny, you should have seen the ones that we put on in the school at Bethel. They looked like episodes of Saved By The Bell, or Mentos commercials.
I agree with daniel-p that is was a tedious and pointless affair. It was indeed a forum for indoctrinating new Bethelites into the Brooklyn institutionalized group-think. Brooklyn Bethel is a sub-culture of the greater JW population which has its own culture, mores, lingo, and social "do's and don'ts". The Entrance School is really just a staging ground for individuals to be groomed and mentally pedicured into institutionally squeaky-clean Watchtower men.
